Strawberry Milk is about the ephemeral and bittersweet intensity of a missed connection — those moments with strangers that cause a rippling effect in surprising ways. The short film follows two women who unexpectedly bond over a customer support call. “Haley” can’t get her printer to work and resorts to using the printer company’s chat support. After the exchange escalates to a mental health crisis, “Mo” moves the conversation to a phone call. We witness them grow closer through confessional moments, exploring topics like mortality, creativity, and the passage of time, while lightened by dry humor and absurd outbursts.
